Data deletion
This page explains how to ask CoreArk Software Private Limited, the company that runs Drapli, to delete personal data obtained through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp.
Where this stands today
Drapli's connections to Meta products are being set up and are not yet available to sellers. No seller can connect an account today, and we hold no data from a seller's account. You can still send us a request.
Email is the only way to ask. Drapli has no deletion control yet, and removing Drapli in your Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp settings does not send us a request.
How to ask
Send an email with "Delete my data" in the subject to connect@corearksoftware.com. Tell us:
- Whether the data came through Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp.
- The Facebook Page, Instagram account, WhatsApp number or ad account involved.
- The seller you messaged, if you messaged one.
How we confirm the request is yours
We confirm that a request is yours before we delete anything. We use details already linked to the account or conversation. If we do not already hold your phone number, we do not ask for one.
We never ask for a password, a one-time code or a copy of an identity document.
How long it takes
We carry out a deletion request within 30 days of receiving it.
We reply by email when the deletion is done, or to tell you that we hold no data about you. If we cannot confirm that the request is yours, we tell you, and we do not delete anything.
What we keep, and why
After a deletion we keep only these:
- Database backups. They are kept for 30 days, so deleted data can remain in a backup for up to 30 days. If we restore a backup, we delete that data again before we use it.
- Records the law requires us to keep, such as tax and accounting records, for the period the law requires. We keep them only to meet that duty.
- Your request and our reply, only while we need them to show what we did.
- If you also asked for a demo on this site, a one-way coded version of your mobile number, never the number itself, for 7 years. It only lets us make sure a restored backup cannot bring your details back.
What this does not delete
A request to us covers only the copy Drapli holds. It does not delete what Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp hold, or what a seller holds in those apps. To delete those, use the settings of that app or contact that seller.
